To our colleagues who are breeders as well as to hobby breeders with good mares: Let us present you our long-term plan "Breeding" starting from January, 1, 2007: The family enterprise Longhorn Ranch intends to accompany its bred horses as long as possible attentively through their life. Our horses must bring high and challenging sport achievements, for this purpose there shall be right basis. As a basis we understand a strong breeding and playful learning even in young years.

It is not only the words; we live and work with this motto.
We accompany every foal / horse as long as it is possible on its life path. We will give our young horses only in the best hands, and they are prepared for their sport future. This program is possible only over time and with understanding. Quite natural the financial stimulation must be given to mare owners.
From this point of view we made a decision to rest much hopes on your mares and our stallions and it means money in the near future.
BREEDING PROGRAM 2008 FOR 15 SELECTED MARES
Your mare will be covered by one of our stallions. Mare owners incur no costs for covering. We offer cool and frozen sperm. The costs for shipment and insemination are paid by the Longhorn Ranch. At the nature spring a mare stays in the Longhorn Ranch free during the time for covering. A mare owner receives a buyback guarantee for a healthy and not maladjusted foal at the rate of 2.000,- € (DQHA-elite mare: 5.000,-€; ROM mare: 4.500,- €; mares with NRHA winning sum over 10.000 €: 4.500,- €) on delivery. It is agreed that the Longhorn Ranch is a place of delivery. The delivery of foals takes place in ca. six months after their birth. Full costs after the birth are paid by the Longhorn Ranch, a smith and a veterinarian services are included. On the delivery the Longhorn Ranch’s bills for a smith and a veterinarian services are settled against the presentation of the initial bills. If a foal is not sold to the Longhorn Ranch the covering rate is payable at the rate of 2.000,- €. The possible costs for the services of a smith and a veterinarian are not refunded. In this case the following specified premiums are without substitution because the Longhorn Ranch has no impact on breeding and later training.
BREEDING PREMIUMS
You get an amount 1.000,- €, as a breeding premium when a foal gets the grade 8,0 again at the foals show by German Quarter Horse Association (DQHA). If a foal gets the grade above 8,4 at the DQHA foals show you get a premium at the rate of 2.000,- €.
FUTURITY PREMIUM
NRHA Germany, 4-year in Open und Non Pro If a foal from your mare reaches a final of NRHA Germany Futurity you get a premium at the rate of 500,- €. If a foal from your mare reaches the 3d place in the final a premium at the rate of 500,- € is paid additionally, and accordingly at the rate of 1.000,- € for the 2nd final place. If a foal from your mare wins the final the Longhorn Ranch pays a breeding premium from 5.000,- €! NRHA Germany Futurity 3-year Open und Non Pro only 50% of the 4-year class is paid.
The ground: From the breeding point of view and especially in the interests of the horses’ health the Longhorn Ranch considers necessary first to bring to an end the growth phases of young horses and to begin the training only when they are two and a half years old.
DERBY PREMIUM
Derby Classes Open und Non Pro.
For the Derby classes 5- and 6-year there is the same financial regulation as in the 4-year Futurity class.
The full premiums are inclusive the statutory value added tax at the rate of 19 %. The said premiums are not applied for regional tournaments. We wish even today to all mare owners who choose our breeding program a lot of success and happiness to hold your nose ahead.
In the first place this program supports breeders, the DQHA and the NRHA Germany.

Covering spring: 2.000,- €
Imputed for a day: 20,- €
Follicle control: 40,- €
per nature spring: 50,- €
